The ever-increasing demand for higher power transfer and load for lighting and audio applications in our industry requires high-capacity power connectors. Neutrik meets this demand for high-power distribution systems and equipment with its new 32 Amp PowerCon. It is not only suited for professional audio and lighting devices and installations, but it also serves industrial applications where high current in a small form factor is required.
The 32 Amp PowerCon is conceived as a three-pole, single-phase AC installation coupler without breaking capacity. It features a current rating of 32 amps for voltages up to 250VAC, and it has the same unique and proven locking system and cable strain relief as the well-established 20-amp PowerCon.
The solid contacts offer screw-type terminals accommodating wires from 2.5mm2 to 6mm2 (AWG 14-10). The high-capacity PowerCon meets all prevailing safety standards, including VDE, UL, cUL, and JET.
