Sustainability Standards Liaisons Forum

  • Description: This track is intended for audiovisual professionals involved in business development, project management, sales, and facility management. Standards are new to the AV Industry, and there are many that come from other associations and interact with audiovisual projects. This day will feature the audiovisual professionals involved with other standards-setting bodies regarding sustainability issues, and will be both informative and interactive. InfoComm’s Standards and Best Practices will be introduced as the audiovisual industry’s response to the need for sustainability initiatives. There will be six separate sessions.

This workshop will survey how the control, monitoring, and use of electric power for audiovisual systems leads to energy conservation through the use of specific components, design principles, and operational management. The verification of conformance to the Standard will be discussed, and sample test reports will be evaluated.
