Panasonic Professional Display Company has introduced two new educational bundles targeted for scholastic presentation and classroom environments.
Incorporating new 10-Series 50in. and 58in. plasma displays (TH-50PH10UK and TH-58PH10UK), the bundles are available in a variety of configurations designed to fit a school’s mobile presentation needs. A durable mobile cart secures the Plasma in place for easy transport and versatility, and Panasonic’s TY-FB10WPU wireless presentation module is offered as an option for wireless presentations from a laptop or PC to the plasma via 802.11 b/g WiFi.
Panasonic 10-Series plasma models are equipped with three interchangeable slots for optional Panasonic plug-in boards that help facilitate connection to a wide range of audiovisual equipment, including PCs, DVD players, and legacy VCRs. In addition, 10-Series Plasma models include energy-saving functions such as Auto Power Off and Power Save Mode.
Displaying superior image quality resulting from a high-contrast ratio for deep, rich blacks, and natural, true-to-life color, the 10-Series 50in. and 58in. models provide a larger and more captivating image than traditional CRT TVs. And unlike projectors, there is no need to focus an image, dim lights or worry about disruptive shadows cast when lecturing in front of the screen. And there are no bulbs to replace ever, resulting in minimal maintenance and operational costs.
The cart included provides the mobility needed for adapting to the shared resource environment common in schools. It allows educators to move plasma displays between classrooms for simple setup, as well as adjust tilt and vertical viewing angles for optimal viewing. An integrated cable management system hides and protects cables for clean appearance and tangle-free connections.
The optional Panasonic Wireless Presentation Module enables PC or laptop to plasma connection from just about any location in a room, eliminating the need for VGA cables that pose a potential tripping hazard. Using the 802.11 b/g WiFi industry standard for high-bandwidth and reliable coverage, the module ensures a fast and reliable wireless connection between one PC and as many as eight plasmas, or up to 16 PCs and a single plasma.
