Christie, a leading provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment, and industry, introduces the ChristieNet Wave (Wireless Audio Video Extension) System, an innovative, high-performance transmitter and receiver solution that replaces VGA cables for computer-based audio/video sources, displays, and projection devices, dramatically increasing connectivity options and reducing cost of AV installations. The ChristieNet Wave is ideal for digital signage, as well as installations where a wired setup would be inconvenient, costly, or problematic due to the design of the space. It is the perfect solution for auditoriums, conference rooms, and houses of worship.

Operating to a range of up to 300ft. (91.44m), the ChristieNet Wave delivers wireless video at 30fps, enabling XGA resolution with mouse, keyboard, and digital audio. The system is compatible with virtually any PC, display, and operating system, and requires no drivers, software, or OS upgrades. It features plug-and-play convenience and easy setup and adjustment, is secure and standards-based, and supports multiple receivers for broadcast mode. The system can easily be optimized to match the source with the display to ensure the perfect audio and video settings.

"Integrators are often challenged to provide cost-effective audio and video installations in areas where a wired solution would be impractical and would take the project beyond the customer's budget," says Max Kopsho, product manager, Network Solutions. "The ChristieNet Wave is the perfect solution, expanding connectivity options and adding value to an installation without sacrificing performance."

ChristieNet Wave is currently shipping.
