Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik will introduce at the Prolight and Sound Fair, Frankfurt, Germany, its new VD30 handset, part of Brähler’s Digivote III. The new system allows voting, audience response, candidate elections out of several participants, interactive presentations, quiz shows, and evaluations.
Within the VD30, there is a graphic LCD with many language versions (Chinese, Arabic, Cyrillic). With the bright background light, results and messages can be read easily within dark conference areas. The VD30 has rechargeable batteries to minimize the service cost. Digivote III works in the longtime approved frequency area of 433MHz, thus allows a large coverage and no disturbance through WLAN. The splash-proof key membrane features 14-key insertion. The system is scalable via USB and RS-485. The system can operate for more than 15 hours—enough for a conference—and 200 votes can be collected in less than a second.
