Inter-M's new IMS-9000 conference system is a complete, plug-and-play package capable of quickly and easily accommodating corporate meetings, seminars, municipal hearings, and virtually any other application where group communications take place.

Inter-M's new IMS-9000 conference system is a complete, plug-and-play package bringing new levels of flexible performance and natural-sounding speech to corporate meetings, seminars, municipal hearings, and virtually any other application where group communications take place.

Ideally suited for boardrooms, hotels, and convention centers, the system is perfect for either permanent or rental installations. Comprising an expandable base of delegate microphone units, each equipped with its own latching talk switch and active indicator, the IMS-9000 conference system is managed by a master control unit with a capacity for overseeing the operation of up to 48 microphones. Given overall system priority, the system's chairman mic can be used to turn off all delegate microphones.

So easy to install that a user's guide is provided almost out of sheer habit alone, the IMS-9000 saves time and frees up valuable technical resources, thereby maximizing installer profitability. Backed fully by Inter-M's service and application engineering department, the system is sold through traditional dealer channels to ensure quick access to expansion components and other parts.

Outfitted with one output channel, one aux input, and its own built-in monitor speaker, the IMS-9000 master control unit has a suggested retail price of $1,622. Chairman microphones (model IMS-9000C) and delegate microphones (model IMS-9000D) come with a weighted die-cast base and list at $460 each.
