The ELMO P30 packs a full-featured XGA output document camera and a professional digital effects slide-show producer into a compact 10.4lb. package. Proprietary ImageMate software for presentation and movie creation makes possible storage/playback of still/moving image data and creation of ‘PC-less’ presentations. MSRP is $2950.
The P30 produces video/film slide shows from images captured on the SD memory card, permitting full manipulation and control of the images saved to its memory. The images can be downloaded to a PC’s hard drive via USB port as JPEG images for archiving or for enhancing presentations. It can store more than 2,048 XGA images. Slide shows can be produced from documents, 3D objects, 35mm slides/film strips, merging them into Hollywood-style productions with effects such as fades, wipes, interval slide feed, stripes, doors, and many others. It has a standard 35mm slide/film strip viewer/adapter.
The P30 delivers impressive multimedia presentations with a data/video projector or large-screen LCD display. Its high-resolution 850,000-pixel progressive-scan CCD captures sharp, color-accurate images for faithful reproduction of full-size A3 documents and 3D objects. Fast 20fps scan rate captures and reproduces vivid realtime images.15x power zoom with 4x digital extender/auto-manual focus provides close-ups of intricate details.
The rotatable head with flip-up/down attached close-up adapter can focus on almost anything in the room. Horizontal and reverse camera-head positioning with image rotation capability makes easy to view blackboards, flip-charts, large artwork, and portraits, and allows the unit to be used as an auxiliary camera with videoconferencing systems. DVI output transfers high-quality video data from a PC without loss of image quality. NTSC/PAL compatible.
