Furman Sound CN-1800S and CN-2400S SmartSequencers
The Cn-1800S (15-amp capacity) and Cn-2400S (20-amp capacity) SmartSequencers from Furman Sound combine AC power distribution, protection, filtration, and sequential system power on/off in 1RU, 120VAC rackmount units for installations of any size. SmartSequencing technology allows large and complex AV systems to be safely powered on and off with a press of a button or turn of a key. SmartSequencing’s bidirectional communications between installed units enable a primary unit to control and sequence multiple secondary units, ensuring multizone electronic systems are powered on and off safely from a single control point across an entire installation. Units can be connected via current loops from 1,000ft. or more, and they offer backwards compatibility with third-party products. Both sequencers are equipped with RS-232 ports and command sets for PC control or integration with control systems. An optional RS-232-to-Ethernet adapter allows it to be controlled, programmed, and monitored from a smartphone, tablet, PC, or any Web-enabled device. Both devices feature eight rear-panel outlets—in addition to one front-panel outlet—in four duplex outlet banks, with three of the banks capable of being sequenced on and off with an adjustable delay.
