AMX's 5.2in. Modero ViewPoint widescreen touchpanel, the MVP-5200i, combines a stylish design with high-resolution graphics, wireless mobility, digital intercom functionality, and extended battery life. The new touchpanel provides fast, power-efficient processing (supporting up to eight hours of continuous use and four days of standby time) and a WVGA-resolution widescreen that supports JPEG and PNG images and streaming motion-JPEG video. The touchpanel can also play MP3 and WAV audio files. The ultra-compact unit weighs 1.2lbs. and is only 0.8in. thick. It features an integrated kickstand; wireless mobility (802.11b/g); a digital, full-duplex intercom for panel-to-panel communication throughout a home, business, or campus; and a navigation wheel for levels and functions.

Extron Electronics' 100W power amplifiers, the HPA 502 and the HPA 1001-70V, feature Energy Star-qualified designs to help meet green building requirements. In addition, they feature a highly efficient Class-D design with patented Class-D Ripple Suppression (CDRS) technology that nearly eliminates EMI emissions and interference with wireless AV equipment. These compact, convection-cooled amplifiers are ideal for installation in racks and lecterns with limited ventilation. The HPA 502 is a 2-channel model that delivers 50Wrms per channel into 4Ω or 8Ω. Peerless Industries' 12 new SmartMount articulating-arm wall-mount models accommodate TVs from 32in. up to 63in. The mounts provide four internal cable-management channels for cable routing, with 1in. of cable storage space per channel. Installation features in the new mounts deliver horizontal position adjustment on the wallplate, up to 10.75in., to ensure the screen will be positioned where it needs to be. Single-stud or double-stud mount models are available. The double-stud models' wallplates include two large openings for easy cord routing and electrical gang box placement.

Rhino Professional Labeling Tools' new Rhino 6500 desktop label printer comes with PC connectivity that allows users to create label files on their computer using the bundled Rhino Connect software or other Windows-compatible software (i.e. Excel) and print directly to the Rhino 6500 or download the file for use at the jobsite. In addition, the printer allows batch printing, so users can easily download, print, and automatically cut large labeling jobs. Other features include a library of more than 250 categorized industry terms and symbols, plus built-in memory to store more than 1,000 custom labels.

The user-focused mount is designed for flatpanel TVs measuring from 40in. to 63in. and weighing up to 180lbs. The low-profile mounting solution extends from the wall and swivels left and right with automated tilt, all via remote control or RS-232. Two preset buttons on the remote let users program favorite positions. The unit mounts directly to studs for easy on-wall installation. It provides 12in. smooth extension and hidden cable management.

The Crestron TPS-6L wall-mount touchpanel features a bright, high-contrast 5.7in. color touchscreen with 16-bit Isys graphics, 640×480 resolution, and a video window that can display full-motion video from external sources such as security cameras, video servers, and cable TV. The touchpanel comes standard with Cresnet and high-speed Ethernet for easy network integration and seamless communications with Crestron control systems. The choice of balanced or unbalanced composite inputs allows compatibility with both conventional coaxial and Cat-5 AV distribution systems. Each TPS-6L is furnished with two front bezels — with or without 12 programmable pushbuttons.
