Secure Cabinet Company designed the Mobile Media Cabinet to allow a media monitor and player to be easily moved around from room to room as a self contained unit without disconnecting and reconnecting any wiring. Finished in maple laminate and bottom weighted to prevent tipping, the unit is rear ventilated and provides easy access for wiring connections. There is also a slide-out shelf on the side of the cabinet for laptop computers or projectors, and the bottom drawer is slotted to hold DVDs or VHS tapes. The unit measures 48in. wide, 48in. deep, and 49 1/4in. high on the outside.

The base and sides have cable ports, and the unit comes in a range of finishes. Options include a task light, cooling fan, adjustable shelf, 10-space rack mounting, microphone mount, connectivity panel, and more customized selections.

A completely mobile presentation platform is what Spectrum Industries designated for the Inspiration Lectern, and it fits the bill with rack rails that can be recessed behind an angled rear surface, flip-up side shelves, and an optional locking instructor-side door. It can be customized to hold a computer keyboard, a media player, and a video projector among other gear. The BW and SR versions have 5in. locking balloon wheels while the TK (toe kick) version sits flat on the floor. The audience-side door is standard, and the top can be fitted with a swing arm to hold a flatscreen monitor. Other options include a six-outlet power strip, a 15-amp power cord reel, and a keyboard tray.

Unveiled at InfoComm as the newest product in the TecPodium line from Tecom, the TecPodium W is the company’s first all wooden turn-key podium. The TecPodium W has the capability to accommodate projectors, computers, and DVD players, and to manage them all with a single built-in control panel. The podium includes a 19in. rack area to house additional equipment and is prewired for quick and easy installation. The unit is also mounted on four casters for mobility.

The PDX21 Executive Podium from Video Furniture International is a large roll-around unit with a surface that can accommodate monitors, laptops, and room control systems with customizable electronic pods, two lockable rear doors, and locking keyboard door. Also featured is a slide-out document camera or projector shelf on the side and a 120mm quiet cooling fan. Options include a 10in. to 22in. LCD monitor mount, a six-outlet power bar with 10ft. cord, countdown timer/clock, Shure gooseneck microphone, tabletop cable well, and a lacing bar. The bottom area houses a 12RU space and a PC tower area.

Winsted equipped the Prestige Sight-Line command consoles to be infinitely customizable with a choice of three base console widths, dual cable raceways, openings for data plates and duplex power, along with double and triple monitor bows. Optional rack mount turrets can be located beneath the M-View monitor wall system holding large plasma or LCD monitors. The Versa-Trak mounting system allows sliding horizontal monitor adjustment, and the locking double doors can protect storage space, computers, and other internal gear.
