Southern Vision Systems announced the new version of the voLANte JPEG2000 encoder. This new model provides for both analog and digital video inputs—VGA, component, RGBHV, DVI-D, and HDMI—by means of a DVI-I connection and passive adapter cables. Both analog and embedded audio is supported, and the encoder also incorporates a three-port Gb Ethernet switch. The voLANte AV uses reliable IT networking technology to enable a scalable, cost-effective, and fully managed system solution for digital signage, live video, and conference room applications.
