The Sonance Merlot series of speakers is targeted to locations with shallow or narrow mounting depths. The two in-wall and three in-ceiling models are built around 4in. midrange/woofers. The flagship 423M pairs a carbon-fiber, cast-basket woofer with an extended-range silk-dome tweeter. The pivoting tweeter offers expanded coverage and stereo imaging regardless of placement in the room. All models have a paintable matte-white finish, perforated metal grilles and come with required mounting hardware. Options include Sonance Flexbrackets for new-construction rough-ins and corresponding cover plates.
