ITC (Instant Tool-less Connector), a division of The Quest Group (parent company of AudioQuest), announced it has added gold-plated connectors to its tool-less line of products. ITC's patented tool-less connector system provides a quick and cost-effective alternative to soldering or compression systems, while the gold plating resists corrosion for a reliable connection in any environment.

Current solder and compression termination systems require multiple tools to make a connection. ITC's connectors, however, do not require a tool for termination, a significant benefit for residential and commercial AV system installers. The ITC tool-less system lowers costs by reducing termination time, complexity, and failure rate.

To ensure long-term, reliable connections, the connectors from ITC feature a captive center pin that securely grips onto the center conductor using a unique spring tension system for maximum contact and conductivity. Thus, the connectors are unique in their ability to be reused easily.

"We are pleased to add the reliability of gold-plated connectors to the innovative tool-less line," says William Low, CEO of The Quest Group. "For installers, the tool-less system drastically reduces termination time. By lowering overall labor hours, these connectors allow installers to put in lower bids for increased wins and also to move on to the next job more quickly, which adds up to higher profits. In addition, the tool-less system offers extremely high performance that reduces failure rates, so installers can be confident that they won't be called back to the job site to diagnose marginal or problematic connections. Most important, our gold-plated tool-less connectors increase customer satisfaction by preventing system down time due to a failed connection."

The new gold-plated series of tool-less connectors is available in F, BNC, and RCA connector configurations, as well as a European/Asia coaxial version for 18-AWG, 20-AWG, and 24-AWG coax cable. Pricing information is available from sales at info@itcplug.com.
