Long known for its custom mounting solutions, Display Devices is no stranger to the flatpanel-mounting market. The company’s line of flatpanel lifts offers lift solutions for up to 50in. displays. The TFT55/75 series is configurable to either lift a display out of furniture, or to lower a display from within a cabinet. It supports screen sizes of up to 20in. wide and 17in. high.
The PL-2200i and PL-2600i lifts are designed to raise a medium-sized display from within millwork or cabinetry. Also offered are options of IR and RF control, as well as an optional closure frame for adding custom millwork. The PL-3000 and PL-3200 series raise and lower displays up from higher ceilings. The 3000 series is designed to support up to a 63in. display. The 3200 series offers a slimmer profile and supports up to a 50in. display. The Display Devices’ flatpanel lift products feature extremely quiet operation, timed control motors accurate to within 1/4in., and finger-safety guards where appropriate.
Draper’s Flatscreen Lift’s design is much more slim and compact in the stored state, yet it rises to a maximum height of 2.4 times taller than its stored height. The lift only requires 2in. of height in the furniture above the display height. This compact design saves space and allows the lift to be placed in a wider variety of furniture and enclosures. Draper Flatscreen Lifts feature universal display mounts and offer drop-in installation. An attachment is also included, allowing a finished look at the bottom of the display by filling the gap with a trim piece matching the furniture. They are available in three sizes: the FSL-F-42, which fits up to a 42in. display; the FSL-F-50, which fits up to a 50in. display; and the FSL-F-65, which fits up to a 65in. display. IR and RS-232 controls are optional.
OmniMount’s OL200FT mount combines fixed and tilting mounting, with 3-degree, 5-degree, and 7-degree increments, into one 2in.-deep design. It is universal and VESA 75x75-to-400x800 compliant, fits most 42in.-to 70in.-panels, and supports weights of up to 200lbs. An easy-to-install, single-wallplate design provides support for the mount. It features OmniMount’s Lift n’ Lock attachment system to allow easy attachment of the display to the mount. Installation is further simplified with the included mounting template and complete hardware kit. Not overlooking any details, OmniMount also includes end caps to ensure a clean side view of the display and mount, as well as providing a locking system to secure the display to the mount. The OL200FT is part of OmniMount’s eco-friendly OmniLite series of products. With that in mind, the packaging is slim to minimize waste, and it features the instructions and mounting template printed on the inside of the box. Topping it off, the OL200FT features a five-year warranty.
Peerless Industries has solved a long-standing problem by offering the first direct corner-mounting solution for flatpanel displays in the industry. The CM mounts attach to both walls of a corner and allow the use of compatible Peerless flat and tilting wall mounts. The mounts are available in two sizes: The CM50 is capable of supporting displays from 32in. to 50in., and the CM60 supports displays from 40in. to 60in. Both mounts are available in black and silver finish.
The CM850 mount attaches to both corner walls as well, but it also includes the SmartMount SP850-UNL pull-out mount, which allows the display to be pulled out 11.9in. from the mount and swiveled up to 45 degrees for proper viewing.
Peerless’ new SUA750PU is the world’s thinnest fully articulating mount, according to the company. It is designed for 37in.-to-55in. ultrathin displays weighing up to 100lbs. Keeping with the aesthetics of these thin displays, the SUA750PU only extends 1.1in. from the wall, providing a truly low-profile mounting solution.
