Sharp XG-SV200X
Sharp equipped the XG-SV200X with a 0.7-in. DLP chip and a five-segment color wheel to produce images with XGA resolution and 3D capability. The 5000-lumen projector uses a side-loading 400W lamp and includes motorized horizontal and vertical lens shift and a lens protection cover. It can be monitored and controlled on LAN and serial connections. The video input formats include HDMI, composite, S-Video, and two VGA ports, the second of which is menu selectable as a monitor output. The unit can be fitted with an optional motorized mount.
Sony VPL-FH500L
The VPL-FH500L 7000-lumen projector from Sony uses a twin lamp 3LCD system to produce WUXGA resolution with full HD compatibility. Each lamp produces the entire 7000 lumens so the other acts as a backup at top brightness. Lens shift can be controlled on the local panel or on the included remote commander unit. Two sources can be projected simultaneously in picture-by–picture mode. The projector is equipped for HDMI and DVI sources, and it can accept HD/SDI with an optional BKM-FW16 input adapter. It includes a physical and password security lock, built-in test pattern, image freeze function, direct power on/off, and a wide range of optional lenses.
ViewSonic Pro8500
The ViewSonic Pro8500 is 3D-ready and delivers 5000 lumens with a single 280W lamp, 1024x768 native resolution, and 1.5X manual optical zoom. It is capable of projecting directly from a flash drive, and it can go wireless with an optional USB adapter. Remote control on LAN and RS-232 is featured with input formats including RGB, HDMI, component, composite, and S-Video. There are audio inputs and outputs on mini jacks, two internal 10W speakers, and a microphone input. Vertical digital keystone correction may be made through a range of ±40 degrees.
Vivitek D8300
For larger corporate boardrooms and training classrooms the 6500-lumen D8300 WUXGA projector from Vivitek produces HD images with a single 400W lamp. The inputs include two HDMI, VGA, composite, component, and S-Video. Control options are RS-232, wired remote, IR, and two 12V trigger ports. Imaging can be shown in 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio, while keystone correction ranges through ±20 degrees vertical and ±35 degrees horizontal in addition to manual lens shift. Normal power use is 510W that drops to 1W in standby.
