2011 Innovative Product: Vaddio ClearView HD-20 Robotic PTZ Camera

Vaddio departed from the usual CMOS sensor route and built this camera around the Sony Exmor sensor to natively display 1080p. The company used the 6.49mm diagonal (1/3-type) sensor; Sony claims the Exmor combines the speed of a CMOS sensor with the image sensitivity accumulated through the development of CCD sensors.
