Link USA Introduces Enhanced Cat-5 UTP Data Cable

Link USA introduced the latest enhancements to its Euro cable ETN line of robust, yet flexible, Cat-5e cables specifically designed for the entertainment industry.
“The new ETN1 cable is a direct response to customer requests in providing DMX and Ethernet transmission solutions for the entertainment business,” says Craig Beyrooti, managing director of Link USA, based in Orlando, Fla.
The new ETN1 unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable continues the Euro cable tradition of providing strength and flexibility for portable applications while maintaining exceptional electrical properties. The ETN1 is manufactured similarly to Cat-6 using the technology of an inserted flexible rubber cross to divide the four pairs, resulting in better electrical stability and extended cable life.
