The Gefen DVI-1000HDS sender unit sits next to the user’s computer, set-top box, or DVD player source, and connects to the user’s DVI source via supplied cables. The DVI display plugs into the back of the DVI-1000HDR receive unit, which can sit up to 1,640ft. away from the display.
One Cat-5 cable and a multimode LC fiber-optic cable (four-strand) connect the DVI-1000HDS and the DVI-1000HDR units to each other. The DVI-1000HD is HDCP-compatible and supports the DDWG standard for DVI-compliant monitors, as well as resolutions up to 1080p, 2K, and 1920x1200.
