The iDesign series of powered, modular installation loudspeakers from McCauley Sound consists of 14 compact loudspeaker modules that can be ordered with or without their integrated power and processing units, allowing the designer to choose unit by unit whether to deploy loudspeakers using an integrated power solution or a conventional rackmount power and processing configuration. The modules can be deployed as standalone units or as part of complex system arrays in two-, three-, and four-way configurations. A wide range of coverage patterns is offered, with driver complements scaling from 8in. to 15in. cone drivers. Five interchangeable, rotatable waveguides allow installers to orient systems to the horizontal or the vertical.

Midas' XL8 digital mixing console features three Midas mic preamps per mic input, analog and digital gain controls for optimization of preamp performance and channel gain structure, and Midas-quality input and output CMRR and drive capability. The console also features 63 discrete 20-segment LED meters and eight channels of key data and single-channel full detail on each input screen. The modular control surface offers multiple input areas to easily accommodate multiple operators. Through VCA (Variable Control Associations)-centric mixing, input paging may be done by musical function, rather than by numbers. Population groups also allow input paging by musical function, rather than by numbers (but without VCA gain control). Snapshot scene automation has cross-scene global edit capability.

OWI's AMP-31C6 three-input speaker features a built-in amplifier that powers and controls up to three other non-amplified speakers. The three inputs each handle a microphone or line-level signal with their own individual control. This enriches multimedia environments by allowing the mixing of three sound sources — such as a presenter's voice, musical soundtrack, and video sound. To simplify installation, projectors, computers, microphones, or other AV equipment simply plugs into the AMP-31C6, and the lightweight, self-amplifying speakers fit directly onto ceiling tiles for up to 25W of Class AB power.

Neumann's TLM 49 large-diaphragm, cardioid, studio microphone combines transformerless circuit technology with a retro look rooted in the classic Neumann M 49 and M 50 microphones of the '50s. The microphone features the K47 capsule used in the M 49 and U47 microphones, which offers a linear frequency response up to the upper mid-range and a gentle presence boost, up to 3dB, above 2kHz. Transformerless technology ensures good common mode rejection, prevents RF interference, and suppresses noise signals affecting balanced modulation. The TLM 49 operates at SPLs of up to 114dB without distortion and provides a dynamic range of 102dB (A-weighted).

RME's MADI converter, a new addition to RME's Premium Line series, converts MADI digital audio streams from optical format to coaxial and from coaxial to optical. The compact 1RU device contains six fully independent bidirectional converters. The converter will operate with any MADI format (56-channel, 64-channel, etc.) and with any sample rate (even out-of-spec rates), and will transfer “invisible” control bits unchanged. Input signals pass through unaltered. A MIDI distributor allows one MIDI input signal to be copied to three MIDI outputs. Several devices can be controlled without an external MIDI distributor.
