Barix AG has unveiled its Annuncicom PS1 paging station. The compact device gives commercial businesses, office buildings, educational institutions, medical facilities, and others a fully integrated hardware solution for paging and intercom over IP. The PS1 features two backlit push-to-talk buttons, volume control, and a built-in speaker and microphone, giving security guards, receptionists, and other operators a simple way to make announcements to an entire facility. The device’s IP addressability allows systems integrators and end-users to take advantage of existing infrastructure.
